Angela Lorek
Angela Lorek was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Lane Tech College Prep High School and graduated in June of 2005. Upon completion of high school, Angela immediately entered Army basic training in August of 2005. She participated in basic and military police training in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and graduated in March of 2006. Angela was then stationed in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii then following Fort Carson, Colorado where she conducted law enforcement responsibilities and necessary preparedness training. She completed her military service in July of 2013.
Angela came into contact with the Dog Tag Fellowship during a women veterans stand down event in the fall of 2023. She was immediately drawn to their passion for helping veterans to adapt to civilian life and pursue excellence in business. Angela hopes to come to the next level of her business goals by learning ways to master entrepreneurial skills and taking advantage of the abundant knowledge available to her by the members and leadership of the fellowship. She is so excited to visit the bakery and learn from everything that makes it so successful. By the way, her favorite baked goods are definitely brownies and nuts are a plus!
