Ashley Owings

Ashley Owings resides in North Chicago, a native of the “Unbridled Spirit” state of Kentucky. Ashley completed both her Bachelors’ and Masters’ Degrees at American Military University. She joined the military while in high school, starting in the Army National Guard before switching to the Navy Reserves. She was Honorably discharged from the military after over 13 years due to a military related injury.

Ashley and her husband battled with infertility from 2013- 2020 and after numerous rounds of fertility workups and procedures she gave birth to her son Henry in 2021 via IVF. Henry was diagnosed with Autism early on and Ashley advocates for Infertility and Autism and is currently writing a book to help others.

What brought Ashley to Dog Tag was the healing journey, of going from feeling not good enough to feeling like herself again and knowing that there are some amazing people at Dog Tag that want to help you get to the place where you can succeed. What Ashley hopes to gain from Dog Tag is to fully embrace the experience, her cohort/alumni's and to work on her own business plan.

Ashley's favorite baked good is the Cronut with Chocolate Icing.
