Cathy Harkless

Cathy H. Harkless is a native of Darlington, South Carolina, the Pearl of the Pee Dee. She earned a BA and MBA in Business Administration from Strayer University in Washington, DC. Cathy is the Air Force spouse of a retired Air Force service member and mom of one adult son. Dog Tag Alum Erinn Roth of Ms. Jo’s Petite Sweets and Ms. Jo’s Petite Eats referred Cathy to the Dog Tag Fellowship Program.

Cathy has a unique perspective from her late grandfather which was to live, laugh, and love each day. Her passions of life are family, long walks, crocheting, reading, having adventures of a lifetime, exercising, and devoting a little bit of time each day to a healthy lifestyle, serving in her church and traveling. One of the most important roles in her life is being a mom and raising her son to believe that all things are possible.

Cathy owns and operates Yhtack in Stitches, an embroidery business which focuses on the needle arts and provides crochet, personalized creative embroidery, monograms, logos and specifically designed images. Her goal is to evolve at Dog Tag personally and professionally, specifically to perfect her business and broaden the company’s network and visibility. The ultimate achievement is to provide clients the absolute best, exceeding their expectations. The Yhtack business tagline is to imagine the possibilities!

Her favorite treats or desserts to bake are once a year for family functions and the southern holiday spread including, zucchini bread, sweet potato pie, lemon pound cake and red velvet cake.
