Sasha Clarkin is a caregiver to her Marine Corps Veteran husband, who is medically retired. She was born and raised in New Jersey, where she met her husband in college. Sasha is currently working on her bachelor's degree in Accounting from Western Governor’s University. Sasha completed the Holistic Health Coach program at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Sasha is a homeschooling mom to three beautiful girls, ages 16, 9, and 4—one of whom has a rare brain tumor on her brainstem.
As a mother and caregiver to her husband, Sasha has put her life and career goals on hold to care for her family. She believes that it’s important for her daughters to see what it is like to be resilient and persevere. Sasha hopes to focus on herself and her goals while participating in the Dog Tag Fellowship Program. Exploring entrepreneurship and starting her own business is a dream come true. In her free time, Sasha is helping veterans advocate for themselves in the VA and civilian health systems.
Sasha's favorite baked good is carrot cake.
